She was born Kellie Dawn Pickler in June 28, 1986 Pickler had a troublesome childhood. She was just two years old when her mother retreated from the abusive relationship. In 1995, she re-entered Pickler's life in 1995 and was given custody of her. But it didn't go as was planned. So when she was 12 the court remitted Pickler to her grandparents they raised her up to the age of adulthood. With the loss of the parents of her, Pickler found herself too busy with the children of her parents. She revealed that she didn't have time to learn and she began to understand how to be a homemaker in her early years. Pickler took part in cheerleading activities at both her middle and high schools. In 2004, she graduated from North Stanly High School. Pickler was also a beauty pageant contestant. In the past, she was named Miss Stanly County.
