Sara Ramirez
Sara Ramirez, a Mexican-American actor and singer is extremely well-known. Sara Ramirez was brought up with her American mother. She was subjected to a variety of racist taunts that caused her to feel uncomfortable. If she attended an event at school and was given the highest praise for her singing when she was in the ninth grade, the girl began to grow more confident. The event not only helped to boost her confidence, but also changed her outlook on life. In 1992 she graduated with her degree from New York's Julliard School. At the age of 23, her first Broadway appearance in Paul Simon's The Capeman, and her debut film, You've Got Mail were both major breaks. In the Broadway first production of Spamalot She played the role of Lady of The Lake which won the Tony Award as well as high praise from critics. The following year, in 2007 she was cast on the ABC program Grey's Anatomy and became more famous. Known as a singer she released her own single and an extended play. She is an activist who works tirelessly to promote LGBT equality.
